The Jungle - Clay Pigeon Shooting FAQs

Q: Is it difficult to hit the clays?

A: We can set our traps to various levels depending on shooters skill, so can make it easier if you have never played before.

Q: I have never used a gun before, can I still participate?

A: Yes we have fully qualified staff to advise you on what to do and give you personal tuition on using a shotgun.

Q: What age do you have to be to do the Clay Pigeon Shooting?

A: Legally you must be 18 years or older to use a shotgun.

Q: Can I bring my own gun?

A: Yes but you must also bring your fire arms certificate

Q: Can I bring my own cartridges and clays?

A: No we supply all clays and cartridges.

Q: What Should I wear?

A: You should wear warm suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy boots or trainers (no sandals or flip flops please). Bring waterproofs and wellies if you think it may rain.

Q: Are there ever any weather restrictions?

A: Not usually however under severe weather conditions where safety of participants or others is at risk the event will be suspended until conditions improve.

Q: What equipment is provided?

A: Ear protectors, safety glasses, clays and cartridges and a 12 bore shotgun.

Q: How long does a session last?

A: It depends on the size of your group but generally with a group of 10 people it should last approximately 1hour 30 minutes.

Q: What is the maximum number of people you can take?

A: We can cater for up to 25 people at a time

Q: What is the minimum number of people you can take?

A: 2 people

Q: How much is a half day Clay Pigeon shooting session?

A: £25 for 25 clays and 25 cartridges

Q: Can we do Clay Pigeon Shooting along with any of your other activities?

A: Yes you can choose from;
